Someone not having fun? TOWIE's Mark Wright sulks in the corner of nightclub while ex Sam Faiers hits the dance floor

He has been insisting that he really is in love with fiancée Lauren Goodger and only has eyes for her. 

And as if to prove the point Mark Wright made sure he looked completely miserable during an appearance at a nightclub in Watford on Saturday night with his ex-lover Sam Faiers. 

The Only Way Is Essex pair attended Paparazzi nightclub but only Sam seemed to be in the mood to party.

The 20-year-old was seen hitting the dance floor in a tight long-sleeved silver dress and soaked up the atmosphere at the nightclub. 

But while the boutique owner made the most of her night out ex-Mark Wright appeared thoroughly unimpressed and stood in the corner of the room texting on his mobile phone all evening. 

While Sam took to her Twitter page to promote her night out the 24-year-old nightclub promoter turned model agency boss failed to Tweet about the evening.

Last night’s episode of The Only Way Is Essex saw Mark’s fiancée Lauren find out that he had had lunch with his ex Sam, and the news left Miss Goodger fuming. 

Later in the episode at Lauren and Mark’s engagement party, Sam took her ex to one side to ask him how he felt about her.

But the conversation didn’t go as well as she had hoped and she was left in tears and exited the bash with her current squeeze the dim Joey Essex.

Mark, who proposed to his on-off girlfriend of nine years in an earlier episode of the show, took to Twitter to make sure his fans knew his feelings for Lauren were real.

He posted: ‘Just about to get in bed with @LaurenGoodger and watch a nice dvd i(sic) love her lots every1(sic) just gota(sic) start beliving(sic) it.’

Lauren then retweeted the message on her own Twitter page as if to reinforce the sentiment. 

Earlier today Mark was showing off his golfing skills with a round of golf which was filmed for the show.

LOVELORN James 'Arg' Argent has said he would wed Lydia Bright if she takes him back.

The Only Way Is Essex singer said he is willing to promise anything to win the 20-year-old's heart again.

Fashion blogger Lydia ditched him after complaining about his laddish behaviour and moaning that he spent too much time with his best mate Mark Wright.

The "living soap" star explained to new! magazine that he's seen the error of his ways.

He said: "I have been neglecting her and I've been spending too much time with Mark. I can see that now."

Asked if he would propose to her, he said: "If that's what it took."

Arg, 22, also blamed the attention he's had from women since appearing on the show for the pair's break up.

Viewers recently saw Lydia accuse him of cheating on her after hearing rumours he'd been unfaithful, but he denied doing anything wrong.

He said: "I think there have been issues since last year when we broke up in Marbella. I kissed a girl in Ocean Club and she was really upset.

"Since then, she hasn't been able to trust me. She also thinks I spend too much time with Mark and not with her. And I get attention from girls now, whereas I didn't before. She thinks I've changed."

And he admits the fame of the ITV2 show might have gone to his head.

"I used to sing in a bar in Spain for 100 euros a night. Now I get girls screaming my name. But I'm still the same person. I'm still friendly. I'm the same Arg."

Snaps emerged showing Arg and Lydia having a furious row during Mark and Lauren Goodger's engagement party - although those scenes didn't appear on screen.

He explained: "Lydia thought I was ignoring her, but I wasn't. I was practising my duet with Jessica [Wright] and trying to make the party a good night as Mark's my best friend. When I went up to her, she told me where to go basically.

"Later, when I went to my hotel room, she was in there with our friends and it all kicked off from there."

And Arg admitted that Lydia had lashed out at him but said he didn't blame her for becoming aggressive.

He denied that Lydia was struggling staying on the show now that the pair have split up. But he scotched rumours that she was thinking to quit the cult hit.

He said: "I don't think she'd do that. She's a strong person."

Arg also insisted he didn't have feelings for Essex beautician Amy Childs, saying they were just good friends.

"She's a very attractive girl, but Lydia's the only one for me. She's my soulmate," he added.

Not got Lauren on the mind Mark? TOWIE's Mr Wright spotted admiring topless beach babes in Miami

He might not have popped the question to Lauren Goodger at the time but ogling other girls on the beach certainly doesn’t suggest a man with only one woman on his mind. 

And Although Mark Wright might have put a ring on his long-suffering on-off Essex girl just a couple of weeks before he proposed he was admiring the form of topless girls on South Beach in Miami. 

The Only Way Is Essex star was enjoying a run on the white sands when a group of topless girls caught his eye.

Mark, who plays the cheeky lothario on the reality show which is set up in part, was dressed in just a pair of black shorts as he took to the sands for a spot of cardio. 

As well as admiring the pleasant view Mark was also seen pouring water over himself and his freshly-waxed chest halfway through the beach workout.

And it wasn't the first time during the holiday that Mark indulged in a spot of exercise in full view of as many people as possible. 

Earlier in the holiday the poser was spied performing some tricep dips and push ups on a wall on Ocean Drive and the reality star was shamelessly grinning as he showed off.

And it seemed he like the photos of his impromptu workout, where he was dressed in just his black boxers, so much he posted one as his Twitter profile picture.

And while the club promoter has been seen giving fitness advice to his co-star and best friend Arg on the show he didn’t show off a particularly toned physique and whilst trim displayed little muscle definition. 

Mark enjoyed the Miami break in March ahead of the second series of The Only Way Is Essex just after he broke up with Playboy bunny Kayla Collins.

He called if off with Kayla, who he shares management with, last month and the model returned home to America to look after her cat.

Then just a few weeks later viewers saw Mark propose to Lauren Goodger out the back of Sugar Hut – despite the fact they weren’t a couple at the time.

Many fans thought the engagement was a shame and Heat magazine claimed that the couple had already filmed break-up scenes for a forthcoming episode of the show – which is filmed around 10 days ahead of broadcast. 

However both Lauren and Mark, who has been linked with Sam Faiers and Lucy Mecklenbergh on the show, have since denied that their engagement is fake.

The Only Way Is Essex pair, who have both been romantically involved with Mark Wright, washed off their slap to pose barefaced for a new shoot in heat magazine.

And the Essex girls both admitted that they felt much happier with the help of some cosmetics.

Lauren, 24, said: "Being on television definitely makes you more conscious of how you look. I've actually had my eyebrows tattooed on.

"Normally I feel OK without make-up - yesterday, I went shopping without any on at all. But when I don't feel well or I'm tired, I feel rubbish being barefaced.

"Then people want a picture and I think, 'Oh God, I've got no make-up on!' I feel nicer with it, but I like to let my skin breathe."

Meanwhile, Sam, 20, added: "It's quite nerve-wracking doing a shoot without make-up - especially not wearing my eyelashes, because I'm so used to having them.

"I'm a very girly girl, but I think it's good for me to see myself like this. I wouldn't usually go out without make-up, even though I'm naturally quite confident. I do love getting glammed up, and I definitely feel better with make-up."

On Sunday night's episode of the ITV2 show Lauren and Mark hosted a lavish engagement party which threatened to be ruined after Lauren discovered he'd met up with Sam the day before.

He'd approached his former flame to ask if she wanted to be involved in his new modelling agency.

The blonde also decided to tell Mark, 24, she thought he still had feelings for her at the bash - moments before he took to the stage to make an emotional speech about how much he loved Lauren.

Sam previously told the ladies' man that she was in love with him - just a few weeks after his shock proposal to Lauren.

He hooked up with Sam last Christmas after stringing along his then ex-girlfriend Lauren and Lucy Mecklenburgh, 19.

The Only Way Is Essex's Sam Faiers was ''gutted'' when she found out her former flame Mark Wright had proposed to his on-off girlfriend of 10 years, Lauren Goodger, according to Sam's sister Billie.

Sam Faiers was "gutted" when she found out about ex-boyfriend Mark Wright's engagement.

Billie - the blonde bombshell's older sister, who also stars in 'The Only Way Is Essex' - admitted while her sibling was upset to hear the 24-year-old hunk had proposed to his on-off girlfriend of 10 years, Lauren Goodger, she is "over it" now.

She explained: "I think Sam was a bit gutted when she found out about the engagement but she was more confused as to why Mark was telling her he loved her one minute then proposing to Lauren two weeks later.

"I don't think she cares now - she's moved on."

However, glamour model Sam - who is now dating cheeky co-star Joey Essex - thinks the only reason the famously volatile couple decided to tie the knot is because Lauren doesn't trust Mark after his playboy past.

Sam added to OK! magazine: "The reason they're engaged is because Lauren said she wouldn't trust Mark unless he proposed. How is that right? If someone proposed to me just so that I'd trust them, I'd tell them no. First you earn my trust, then we'll get engaged.

"All I know is that I would never get engaged to someone who wasn't completely devoted to me."

The saying goes the camera never lies... so we can only wonder what the truth is about Lauren Goodger and Mark Wright's relationship from these images.

In candid snaps taken from a photobooth hired for their lavish engagement party last week, The Only Way Is Essex couple posed up a storm.

But as they puckered up for a kiss in an apparently romantic shot, it looked less than genuine as Wright appeared to be looking elsewhere instead of closing his eyes as expected.

Their lack of passion in their kiss for the cameras will no doubt further fuel speculation their engagement has been faked for the ITV2 reality show.

Attempting to prove the doubters wrong, the club promoter broke down in tears and said the F-word repeatedly as he paid tribute to his on/off love of 10 years.

Wright and Goodger, both 24, hoped to settle doubts about their relationship once and for all by hosting an over-the-top engagement party last Thursday, which was broadcast on Sunday night's episode.

The reformed playboy and his best friend James 'Arg' Argent arrived at the bash on horseback, which Goodger looked like a bride already in a floor-length white gown as she drove up in a white limousine.

But it appeared their families still aren't convinced they should be together after Goodger spoke to Wright's mother Carol, sister Jessica and grandmother Nanny Pat during the party.

They insisted they liked Goodger, but they had concerns the couple could be happy long-term because they row so often and have split up so many times.

Wright stunned viewers of TOWIE last month when he suddenly proposed to Goodger in a pub carpark - even though they weren't even a couple at the time.

The pair last split up in July 2010, with Wright going on to romance fashion designer Lucy Mecklenburgh and glamour model Sam Faiers.

Although Mecklenburgh wisely stayed away from the engagement party, Faiers ended up having a private heart-to-heart with Wright in a back room at the bash, where he told her he would always have a special place in his heart for her.

The nightclub host will throw a spectacular champagne-fuelled bash that will be seen on this Sunday's The Only Way Is Essex.

Pals say Kirk wants to steal back the limelight after being infuriated by the amount of airtime the ITV2 show has devoted to Mark and his new fiancee Lauren Goodger.

The whole of Sunday's episode featured the couple's engagement party as speculation about whether they will wed continues.

But Kirk plans to take his revenge and sources say his girlfriend Lauren Pope is also on board and has bought a surprise gift - a bulldog - that will take centre stage.

A source said: "Kirk hasn't been used as much on the show lately and he want to go all out to ensure he gets good screen time.

"Kirk has one thing over the other cast members and that is his dad's money.

"He got a Range Rover earlier this year and now really wants to splash the cash with a massive fairground party.

"Lauren and Mark's engagement party looked great on the TV with them riding on white horses but Kirk wants to go one better and this is the way forward."

Kirk has been determined to top Mark since he beat him at a boxing match last November.

The two were mates before but have not been on good terms.

The source added: "Kirk doesn't like the way the show seems dominated by Mark.

"Earlier in the series Kirk was involved in a bigger storyline when he dumped Lauren.

But a few episodes later he had wooed her back.

In recent weeks he's only been kissing and cuddling Lauren, which isn't as exciting to viewers."
